Benjamin Isaac Harari

Masters Student

Benjamin Harari is a master’s student in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the Burke Lab at the beginning of 2025. He came to Columbia after graduating with a BSc from the University of Nottingham in Natural Sciences with Physics and Chemistry and working as a software engineer. His research is focused on investigating exhaust gas recirculation to limit NOx emissions in ammonia-fueled engines. Ben has conducted previous research into novel renewable energy technologies, with a final-year undergraduate dissertation on dye-sensitized solar cells and redox-flow batteries.
